DESCRIPTION
Do an easy loop around the lake or venture into some of the more rustic trails for a longer hike. If you visit in the summer when you can cool off with a swim at the beach, but this park is unique in the winter. Groomed trails are perfect for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing, with rentals available.
ACCESS
Take Nanticoke Road, NY 7 miles to Greenwood Road. Turn left, go up a long hill, and the park entrance will be on your right.
CHALLENGE – 3 mile loop
Hike the trails that follow the outer perimeter of the park, a combination of the Outer Loop, Woodland, Pine Ridge, and Evergreen Trails.
